Apostrophe Consulting inspires transformation and growth within creative organizations through a collaborative problem-solving process. We discover shared value and inspire leadership development with the goal of strengthening the communities we serve. We grow ideas from early strategic visioning through implementation, while bringing out the very best in each organization’s most precious resource -- their people.
We merge design and business thinking as an approach to navigate past operational barriers within organizations. We serve entrepreneurs, executive leaders, teams, and communities to discover and meet organizational needs.

Design and business thinking
Design and business thinking blends the principals used for problem-solving in a traditional design education with those found in a business education. The model emphasizes a creative and practical approach creative leaders can use to navigate the multi-layered complexity of their businesses.
With a background in architecture, Je'Nen has cultivated a career of collaboration deeply rooted in leadership. Her work as a designer, marketing specialist, and nonprofit executive leader with creative thought leaders from across the country has shaped her knowledge of organizing teams of all sizes. She has helped organizations launch innovative projects, training programs, and strategic planning efforts at many scales, and is well versed in the management of creative businesses.
Je'Nen graduated from the Mills College, Lorry I. Lokey Graduate School of Business and Public Policy in 2017 with an MBA and concentration in social entrepreneurship. She has ten years of experience leading strategic planning, and has received numerous awards for her outstanding leadership. Throughout business school Je'Nen also received academic funding that supported her research on the intersection of design and business thinking. Her greatest strength is inspiring organizations and individuals to envision and achieve more.
